Today’s Parent magazine (May 2015) provides a food allergy research “checkup” in its article “The Good News on Food Allergies.”
In the article, researchers from AllerGen’s Canadian Healthy Infant Longitudinal Development (CHILD) Study and the Canadian Food Allergy Strategic Team (CanFAST) comment on advances in: predicting and preventing food allergies; desensitization to peanut, milk and egg; and how CHILD and other AllerGen research may soon provide answers about how genetics and environmental factors affect the likelihood of developing food allergies.
